It should be noted that I still have these tapes even though I no longer own a cassette player.

I have a cassette player. Something can be arranged should the need arise.
I've been converting my analog music collection to CD. It's a tedious process, but it's also fun.
We also have cassette players. And beta video machines too if you really want to go old school. I believe we can even play 8-tracks on the 2X-L.

I still have about 50 cassettes that I won't get rid of because I don't have any other copies. I am also without a cassette player.
It's amazing how many things we hold onto in our lives out of an emotional sense with no practical purpose such as tapes and no player. I'm in the same boat. I probably could declutter my life by a third if I was able to part with said items.
